Time For Paxil
How do you know that you need anxiety medicine? At what point do you simply say, “I cannot take anymore, medicate me please.” I’d like to think I should be able to handle life’s little stresses without medication; after all, my life is cake. But when the pressure behind my eyes threatens to pop it from my skull, I have to wonder… why is it so hard for me to de-stress like a normal human being?

From experience, I say go talk to someone first and try to pinpoint the source of the stress and anxiety. Then try to exercise 3 times a week for at least a few minutes. Enough to kind of wear you out a little. People make fun of Christians for it, but the Bible has wonderful passages about peace and joy. Meditate on those for a few minutes a day. Then if you still have problems and it seems uncontrollable, get the meds, but with a plan to talk to someone and a decision of when you go off of them. Don’t stay on them.
