		<description>I, too, had this happen to my child. It happened so fast that I couldn't grasp what had occurred. I just stood there, outside the pool, watching in disbelief. Fortunately, someone IN the pool saw it and came over quickly and pulled her up. I'm sure I would have jumped in in time to get her, but I when I think back on this -- some 13 years ago, maybe -- I still feel horribly guilty.

		<description>I had the EXACT same thing happen.  I saw Callan slip right under - all the while looking at me with big eyes. It's horribly chilling.

To that end, we are starting private swim lessons this month.  I know you can't "waterproof" a 3 year old, but I'm going to give him every bit of help that I can, just in case.  Alex is old enough - check out pools in your area for lessons.

And the hubby wants to put a pool in our backyard...uh, I think we'll wait a couple of years. I just don't want to live with the fear.</description>
