..overheard FAR TOO MUCH information about someone’s medical condition, but you were trapped and could not get away?  And when they continue to divulge FAR TOO PERSONAL information, like, to the point that you feel gross, what is the correct way to get out of it?  And how do you make people understand that it’s INAPPROPRIATE to be having those conversations in a public forum to begin with?

I need a tissue.  And some Lysol.  And some earplugs.  And a brain scrubbie.

“That’s like your FOURTH doughnut!”

“So?”

“Are you hungry?”

“Not really.  I NEED it.”

“Bingeing is never a solution.”

“Shut up.”

October has always been hell on my relationships. Actually, it’s kind of a toss-up between September and October.  Both are pretty bad.

Looks like it’s not going to be any different this year, either.

I am at a critical point with the person I’ve been seeing, and some things have come up that makes me question his honesty.  I don’t want to question his honesty; I want to be able to believe in him.  I may have (unfairly) placed him on a pedestal he is not capable of standing apon. I may have read his intentions in a different way.  I may have just been a blind idiot. Or, I may be wrong altogether, and he could have been telling me the truth all along in the way I want to believe he is.

The problem is, I just DON’T know.

As damning evidence keeps pouring into my life, I am sickened at the thought that everything I felt may not be real at all.  I’ve been lied to so much in my life.  Details have been omitted to keep me in the dark. I don’t know what’s real and what’s not any more.

I’m praying this one is different.  I hope to God he is telling the truth.

Me:    Uh huh

D:      Thus, i get the feeling we will both be getting the latest lightsaber starwars game and battling each other…

Me:    OMG

D:      Yeah, that bad

Me:    LOL

D:      She is into a lot of the geek stuff that i was growing up

Me:    Yeah… but for you it’s a memory… for her, it’s RETRO!

D:      Ouch
