As I lay here, the soft sound of the rain falling outside brings me no comfort.
My heart is breaking.

Ring of fire I see. The sun has a thin outer ring (Chromosphere) hotter than its surface, which we believe caused by the sound waves from the sun. I mean,,, if your on the surface of the sun its about 10K degrees, then as you back away from it the temperature jumps up to 20K in the ring. Going in or going out, you have to pass through the fire. Pass through it dear heart.

Hopefully this is the hardest part for you. Like standing at the base of the hill beginning to climb up.
